Here is a story you all know well from class. It is the story of William Tell.
William Tell and his young son were off in the forest seeking adventure (not to mention food...it was past lunchtime and McDonlald's had not been invented yet). The came upon a village with a tall gate around it. William propped hisson up on his shoulders to see over the gate. Suddenly his soon started giggling.
"What's so darned funny?" William asked his son.
"Dad, you won't believe this, but all the town's people are bowing to a funny hat on a stick as they walk by it," he replied. "And nobody else is laughing, either. This is pretty weird."
"Well," William said, "let's head into the village and find out what this is all about."
